I just came back from Europe where I had my internship and traveled a bit, I need to put back my life on track. I have no idea when I will get around to do more art, but no worry, I will come back in force later in 2015 :)

Hello everyone!
After so long, I write again to announce to you all that my mom opened an Etsy shop for her Russian folk art paintings! Her nickname there is LanikArt and we listed some nice items. Please, help her (us!) to spread her wings, she really loves what she is doing and I think it's time for my mom to spend some more time on what she loves to do and make some money out of it after a hard life raising her kids and getting beaten up by life. Ok, I had to share this! One of my friends here on DA, Dianabolique, organised a little game on her journal: a collective story. And this is the result! Chapter 2 will start soon I think, so come and participate! It's way tooooo fun to miss it!
My little brother's art
Hello everyone!
This journal is to feature my little brother's work! He turned 12 on February 23rd and I can tell you that he is a really sweet boy! Besides his really sporty side, he seems to enjoy art too, even if he doesn't show it much. He likes to see what I did new. Last year, I bought him some good paint for stained glass style paintings and I helped him out for a couple of projects that he wanted to do as a gift for his teachers. I couldn't take a picture of those, but I'm sure there will be more in the future.
Here is a matrioshka, a Russian doll, that my mom made out of paper mache and that my little brother painted when he was 10
